# TOOLS.md - Local Notes
Skills define _how_ tools work. This file is for _your_ specifics — the stuff that's unique to your setup.
## What Goes Here
Things like:
- Camera names and locations
- SSH hosts and aliases
- Preferred voices for TTS
- Speaker/room names
- Device nicknames
- Anything environment-specific
## Examples
```markdown
### Cameras
- living-room → Main area, 180° wide angle
- front-door → Entrance, motion-triggered
### SSH
- home-server → 192.168.1.100, user: admin
### TTS
- Preferred voice: "Nova" (warm, slightly British)
- Default speaker: Kitchen HomePod
```
## Why Separate?
Skills are shared. Your setup is yours. Keeping them apart means you can update skills without losing your notes, and share skills without leaking your infrastructure.
---
Add whatever helps you do your job. This is your cheat sheet.
## Network / Proxy
- Current local HTTP proxy: `127.0.0.1:7897`
- `127.0.0.1:7890` was checked on 2026-03-26 and was not accepting connections
### Google Services (gog)
**所有 Google 服务(Gmail/Calendar/Drive/Sheets 等)必须通过代理访问**
使用 gog 前必须设置环境变量:
```bash
export HTTPS_PROXY=http://127.0.0.1:7897
export GOG_ACCOUNT=geekychen@gmail.com
```
然后在执行 gog 命令,例如:
```bash
gog gmail send --to "recipient@example.com" --subject "主题" --body "内容"
```
## Lightpanda
- Local Lightpanda CDP endpoint observed at: `ws://127.0.0.1:9222/`
- Current behavior snapshot (2026-03-26):
- Basic CDP control works (connect / create target / navigate / evaluate JS)
- `example.com` and Bing search were reachable in testing
- Many other sites failed with `SslConnectError`, `GotNothing`, or session resets
- Treat the current Lightpanda instance as **experimental and site-specific**, not a general-purpose browser by default
- Prefer **serial, one-site-at-a-time validation** before depending on it for new browsing tasks
